Without the memory

Sometimes it can be difficult to describe a memory to someone else, who was not there at the time it took place - for many reasons, firstly they are not you? So they may react differently in that situation. Secondly because they didn't experience the situation such as senses (visual, hearing, touch and etc.)  Memories can effect each of us and shape who we are. A person that looses there memories will no longer be the same person. A shell. So what if I didn't have these attachments to my items here are there technicl titles: Without my memory this is all that the 10 objects are. However with my memories they have so much more purpose and reason of being. Are these definition how other people see my objects? Or do they connect them to there own memories unconsciously?
